Terms and Conditions of Class Participation
Pole Catz Tweed Heads Studio (ABN 8955 050 8916)(“PoleCatz”, “we”, “us”, “our”) have adopted these Terms and Conditions of class participation which applies to all dance classes, courses and workshops booked by clients (“you”) at the Pole Catz Tweed Heads location: Unit 3/33 Machinery Drive, Tweed Heads South NSW 2486
1. Types of classes and bookings: Bookings essential for all classes
1.1 Casual Classes (“Casual Classes”)
Casual Pole Classes and Dance Classes are available and must be booked and paid for in full before commencement of the class. Only Specific classes eg: Pole (Casual/Practice) are available for casual attendance.
1.2 Session Cards
We offer Class Passes for Casual Classes which enable you to purchase a group of 5 or 10 classes in advance.
These classes must be paid for in full in advance prior to booking to attend any casual class.
The Class Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can only be used by the Purchaser. Sessions not used within the expiry period are Non-refundable and not interchangeable.
The session cards are only redeemable at the Studio named on the card.
1.3 Courses
Our Pole Courses consist of a 6 week course held within our Studio Terms and are at a specific level or skill type such as Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Pole courses include 6 one hour lessons throughout your 6 week allotment.
Dance courses consist of a 6 week course held within in our Studio Term and include classes such as, Burlesque Dance, Sexy Flow Pole, Get Base-ic, Twerk Dance, and Lapalicious Dance. Dance courses include 6 one hour lessons throughout your 6 week allotment.
Graduation Nights every 12 weeks are offered and are optional according to your wishes to participate in.
1.4 Workshops and Specialty Classes
Workshops and specialty classes are held regularly throughout the Studio Term.
Payment for Workshops and Specialty classes must be paid in full prior to commencement of the class or workshop.
1.5 Private Classes
Private classes are specialty classes that are booked by appointment throughout the studio term. On booking a deposit is required and the balance is due prior to the commencement of the Private Class.
1.6 Parties and Functions
Parties and Functions can be booked as a 60min or 90min session and is charged on a per person charge. This includes a variety of drinks and nibbles, games and prizes as well as the pole, burlesque, twerk or lap dance lesson. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 must be taken at the time of booking with the balance invoiced 7 days prior to the booking after final confirmation of numbers attending.

You can also call and speak to the Bookings Manager on 0406 204 997, however an application in writing MUST be submitted for consideration.
2. Notice of Cancellation or Suspension or Transfer of classes
2.1 Casual Classes/Workshops/Session Cards
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a casual class or workshop. The class fee is not refundable, but with the required notice, this can be transferred to another class within the same Studio Term, subject to availability. If you provide us with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation, your class fee is not refundable or transferable under any circumstances.
2.2 Courses
A minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel your participation in a course prior to the course commencement. If you provide the required notice we will refund you your Course Fee less the initial booking deposit fee of $50.00. If you give us less than 14 days notice, there is no refund or transfer on the full course fee. No refund is offered should you drop out once the course has commenced, make up classes or transfer to an alternative course may be offered at the discretion of Pole Catz under legitimate circumstances.
Missed Lessons:
If you miss a course lesson you may be offered a make up a lesson to join a Pole Fitness casual class at the discretion of Pole Catz under legitimate circumstances this session subject to providing 24 hours written notice that you will be unable to attend your usual class. Missed Lessons must be made up within the 6 week allotment of your course. If you drop out of a course half way through, you will not be entitled to a refund for the remainder of the course.
Course Transfer:
A paid course may be able to transfer to another participant (or remainder of the course), a $50.00 administration fee applies.
3. Private Classes and Functions
3.1 Private Classes
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a Private Class. The deposit is not refundable, but with the required notice this can be transferred to another time within the Same Studio Term, subject to availability. If you provide us with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation, your deposit is not refundable or transferrable under any circumstances.
3.2 Parties and Functions
A minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is required to cancel a Function. The function deposit of $100.00 is non – refundable. You are able to transfer your function to another date and time subject to availability. If you do not provide us with a minimum of 4 weeks written notice of cancellation, there is no refund or transfer on the Deposit under any circumstance.
4. Studio Conduct and Participation
Pole Catz is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students, instructors, staff, and visitors.
All students and visitors are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants at all times. Behaviour including harassment, bullying, intimidation, threatening behaviour, defamatory comments, discrimination, inappropriate conduct, or behaviour that negatively impacts the studio environment will not be tolerated.
Pole Catz reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry, remove, suspend, or terminate the participation of any student or visitor whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with the values and expectations of the studio.
Any refunds relating to suspended or terminated participation will be at the discretion of studio management.
5. Children Attending the Studio
Pole Catz acknowledges that, on occasion, students may need to bring children to the studio due to unexpected childcare circumstances.
Children attending the studio must remain under the direct supervision and responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times and must not interfere with classes, equipment, staff, or other participants.
Children attending the studio are not participants in adult classes unless specifically enrolled in an approved class or activity.
Pole Catz reserves the right to determine appropriate conditions regarding children attending the studio and may refuse attendance where considered necessary for safety, suitability, operational, or class-related reasons.
6. Surveillance and Security
For the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, and studio property, CCTV surveillance cameras may operate within common areas of the studio premises.
By entering the premises, students and visitors acknowledge and consent to the use of surveillance recording for security, safety, incident investigation, and operational purposes.
Surveillance cameras will not operate in private areas such as bathrooms or designated change rooms.
All surveillance footage will be stored securely and accessed only by authorised persons where reasonably necessary and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Pole Catz encourages respectful and constructive communication regarding any concerns or complaints.
Any complaints regarding students, instructors, staff, policies, or studio operations should be directed to studio management in writing.
Pole Catz reserves the right to determine the appropriate process for investigating and resolving complaints and may limit or manage communication between parties where necessary to protect the wellbeing, privacy, safety, and comfort of staff and students.
8. Social Media and Reputation
Students and visitors agree not to engage in conduct, whether in person, online, or through social media, that may reasonably be considered harmful, defamatory, intimidating, or damaging to the reputation of Pole Catz, its instructors, staff, or students.
Pole Catz reserves the right to take appropriate action where behaviour outside the studio environment negatively impacts the safety, wellbeing, or reputation of the studio community.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Pole Catz reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be made available via the studio website and/or within the studio premises.
